Who will take the Blow?

When as a in-charge one looks forward to take credits, one should also come forward to take the blow. In today's complex and competitive environment, what we miss is camaraderie. Some people opt the pessimistic approach while some prefer to be solution seekers. There is a well know saying; "Whats goes comes around."
To be effective leader you should build yourself to take the blow. At the same time it is significant that when taking blow leader should make sure the lesson is well learnt. When talking about learning do not limit only for yourself, it should extend to team. Being leader is also like being a parent. When a parent is making sure the kid is safe, they also make sure that they learn. Leader should not expect the team to stay hackneyed. It is not good for individual development. In one of my previous article I have explained why insecurities kill leadership. In the same fashion when you do not protect the team one is look down upon as leader. 
There are few steps one should follow make team ready for you to seen up while taking denunciation. 
- Take Responsibility: Make each one responsible for their own task. In begin they might feel you are being over demanding, but stay on top of things. Make them feel responsible. That also helps right people get motivated and wrong ones quit.
- Opportunity to Teach: When a leader gets a chance always discuss and bring up pros & cons. When team sees you as a value adder they will seek you when they feel in trouble, which helps mitigate risk. 
- Opportunity to Learn: It is most often possible that you might learn from people with you. Do not shy away take that opportunity to make that person feel important. You did not come to world with encyclopedia, you can seek answers as leader.
- Pragmatic towards problems: When any person in team is facing problem be practical. Probe the member so that he/she can get solution themselves. Let them live the problem and overcome it and make sure you are their while they are swimming through.
- En-cash strengths: Today in the competitive world we are so busy pushing the problem. Many people push their problems to other person desk and keep blaming. You should teach your members to en-cash each others strengths. With this also teach to support others weakness instead of gossiping over.
