How do I know my GURU?
I remember in my childhood days, I use to feel that a human treated as a god is incorrect. If human start to posses the power of god then, what I can do to be one. It is only with knowledge and education I learned, people worship them as GURU and not god. There is a fine line in worshiping one as GURU and source of energy as GOD.
Which calls for many questions like; who is guru, how is guru so significant in our lives, why to have a guru, where can i find guru, how will I know if one I consider as guru is apt for my set of thoughts, what if I don't want a guru and many such inquisitive questions.
To get answers to all the above, you will need to experience the GURU. And to do that how will you identify your GURU?
GURU is that person who can bring that smallest of joy in your life by giving you guidance. It is not necessary someone with spiritual backing or personality. One or many people you have in your life who gives you guidance that help you in your life to progress by devising your own energy, thoughts, actions and beliefs. They are the ones who give you path to have faith in yourself.
I can quote many such GURUs who with their foresight have given inspiration to ordinary person do to extraordinary things. Hence, one of the core members to ones life to consider for GURU are their parents, as they are ones who always have faith in their kids till they die. Teachers, who may be for their living take this profession but always are source of education a path of guidance to every kid in their life. Your seniors at work, leaders in your life, mentors to your goals and all your well wishers.
A intellect has said "Guru is one whom you fear yet long to meet". Why? As Guru has the ability to see in you the flaw and courage to take the ownership to correct that. And as humans we always fear correction, as it requires change and acceptance.
GURU is the one who can bring that change quotient in your life to open horizon of opportunities yet identify only the one you can explore to progress in life. GURU is no spiritual energy, they are your source of energy who gives you the guidance to walk on the path you select and give you confidence to attain your destination.
To find your GURU you will need to seek one. And honest seeking happens only when you accept that you do not know. Once you establish the fact to yourself you do not know, you will seek the answer. Similarly to seek your GURU you must accept that you do know how to seek and you will find ONE.
