Moral vs Nation

There is so much of unrest in the overall environment of the country. The causes are so many, yet so not understandable. Most of the sectors are finding it hard to survive in the given working philosophies of this government. Yet there is so much of hope with this government.

The situation is such were India is almost in a state of confusion. Citizen want to support the good initiatives, but that is calling for personal discomfort. To quote be it GST or City control rooms. The change is not getting accepted. GST acceptance was not there saying all of sudden such major economic policy. The economy has not survived the impact of demonetisation and now in 6 months GST and that to at the edge of Diwali a major festival of India.

At the other side, when traffic police is catching hold of people who are not following rules. Advocates are protesting mentioning these are old records, start fresh. Why work on slow process by digging the past. What is the matter, is it government working on new policy or government working on old policy? Even if traffic police is getting old records to catch hold of that driver, the rule that is broken was very much there for decades.

The basic issue lies in the morale of people. Citizens want to enjoy benefits but they do not want to follow the civic rules. Their morale is happy to ignore a dying man on road but not happy to accept their mistake on road. Happy to accept under table money but not able to accept others doing that. Wife wants to enjoy the money received even if through wrong ways.

WHAT IS WRONG?
WHAT ARE WE TEACHING NEXT GENERATION?
ARE WE REALLY INNOCENT?
ARE WE GOOD FOR THE NATION?
WHO CREATED RULES & FOR WHOM?
WHO IS BENEFITED OF THE TAX?

If the answers to the above questions are not simple who made them difficult. It is important that we accept the fact that our nation is not the only one battling corruption or dishonesty. Then why only blame our culture and population. Blame yourself for not supporting the necessity and supporting what is convenient. Do you walk down to zebra crossing to cross the road, the answer is definite no. On questioning; who cares, traffic police is not there then why bother, do what is convenient. Where is the morale in this? What is your kids or people who consider you as idol are observing.

Answer to all the development, rules, law, cleanliness, discipline, smart city and growth lies in individual morale. You do your duty with alertness and then expect returns. Till you will not water the nation with your morale the tree is not going to give you fruits you expect.

The developed countries are also facing corruption issues, crime issues, injustice issue and many other similar to our nation. Yet their law & order is not shattered as the citizens make sure that nomadic life should be normal. The individual or family or organisation may suffer due to incidents but the nation should not suffer.

Can we dream of a nation which is self responsible. We can do that by at least educating our surrounding. Pushing our people to live with healthy morale. Is it a unreasonable demand from our mother nation?
