Woman Leader Challenges

In today's world each of us are aspiring to grow. With this the competition has gone beyond the mark. No one wants to compromise neither wants to take a step back. In earlier days competition was less as competitors were less. Today also the world has that imprints left. One of them is MAN DOMINATION.

Today with more women coming in the corporate they have to face this concern at some point of time. Also the fact remains that they are victim to it or has over come it. But is Man Dominance the only concern they face. The answer is definite NO.

Definitely if woman is more dominating the opinion are different like:
- Not Warm

- Bossy

- Rude

- Dad Princess / Poor Husband

There are some traits of leaders that when a woman carry it is not perceived in the same way as man's. And many more that are not perceived as in general case.
- When woman uses warmth as leadership trait. Warmth is consider as undue advantage to woman.

- When woman are achieving success they are threat to man and not the competitors.

- Generally in organisations woman are not more than 30 - 35% which is minority. Which gives majority the edge of more word of mouth.

- When woman is warm she is subtle and when dominating she is rude.

Few facts that are actually myth:
- Women love gossips. Survey say men gossip more and feel insecure if they are unaware of surroundings.

- Men are better Managers. Women can do multitasking and beat men in management aspects.

- Women = cost. Women are best budget planners as they plan their family budget every day and walk on tie rope.

If you agree encourage the women around and empower them to stand for themselves. Men have greater support in form of life partner who is woman. But women always shy away to go back and discuss with their man. Few are lucky to have a man in life who is not discriminating.

It is time for big change. Acceptance of women in leadership. Change for gender discrimination in leadership. It is difficult for men to work under women leadership, need to change their mentality.
Very few lucky women get support from their life partner. It is not easy for a man to keep his ego aside and stand with woman who is equally or more successful than him. Challenges for women in leadership at every step, it's time to encourage them.
