As HR professional the biggest agenda on the chart for us is GROWTH. It can be company growth or individual or team or ourselves.

For us GROWTH is the most important aspect to make sure that all the twigs are in sync & place. Growth motivates us all. One question we have to answer in almost all interviews - "what is our growth path?"

With this responsibility and execution at each stage, what we realise is there is no complex formula. There are few basics that each one of us can follow to achieve the goals we set for us. Growth is no big deal for doers. I can summarise 5 traits that each one of us should follow if you want to grow. And there is no segregation of growth, it can be in personal or professional life.

Positive Attitude
When you have positive outlook in life, you have won it half way. What is critical is determination towards achievement. The jest to achieve you goal is strong path is visible. You are clear of what you should do to get there.

Knowledge of your field
When you are hands on with your subject you can get things going on back of your hands. Also when you are thorough with your field you are sure about the actions. It also represents your confidence in self.

Perseverance
When you plan to start you are head strong, but then you start loosing your focus. Sometimes failures demotivate you or success makes you relaxed. Both the scenarios make you looser. If you want to win you have to keep doing. Your constant efforts are always felt. The result is part of game but persistence is heart of game.

Positive Aggression
One needs to be aggressive towards actions. When we are on top of things we are in sync. We can be sure of our results. Aggression in the right direction shows confidence. Your confidence gives other person faith in you.

Maturity
Last but not the least, one should be mature to draw lines or cross limits if required. Your thoughts drive you. If you are mature to take the responsibility, to handle your emotions or to manage the other person. You will be the person who is in demand.
